Everywhere that I look , in my red hat room, I see Linda. The red hat teddy that sits atop my computer, the little bean bag doll that sits on my printer, the red hat blanket that she made for my day bed, all the beautiful cards she made and sent to me from Ohio. We were very close, she was my little sister, the one that I never had, and yes, I even used to get angry at her cause she wouldn't wear her red hat half the time. I even bought her a red feather for her hair, but half the time she forgot to wear it. I will miss Linda so much.
I know Bob is truly lost. Their's was an unusual arrangement , but they truly loved each other. Although we didn't see each other very often, there was a wonderful bond there. She was truly a wonderful friend and a sister. This should have never happened, she was so young, and so full of life. Her 2 twin grand babies were the light of her life. that's the last picture she gave me, taken last Thanksgiving. She wanted me to have a picture of the 4 of them together.
There's a new angel in heaven now, as that's where she'll truly go. Other than her family, she loved her work and her kids. I always kidded her that those were her "children". She was such a gifted teacher, and I know she will truly be missed by all that were lucky enough to have known her.

I remember the first time I met Linda Studier. She emanated happiness, kindness, fun, intelligence and much much more. I'll never forget her smiling face and I will be looking everywhere for her. I remember telling her I could hardly wait for the next year and a half to pass so she could join us on a full time basis. I will miss you my Red Hat Sister. Go in peace.
Love, Joyce
